Xbox games

---> Gaming console prior to Xbox 360

I'll be able to comment on this console a little bit more since I have it. I have to say that it is very fun to play if you know the good games. Hope this will help you get a better idea of what you're looking for.

Halo: Combat Evolved

  • I have to say that this is the BEST video game for Xbox, I would DEFINITELY recommend it
  • Has been chosen as game of the year
  • You are a soldier and you have to eliminate Covenants
  • You can play co-op missions with your friends
  • Can engage on multiplayer combat with over 25 players at a time
  • There are a wide variety of vehicles are your disposal
  • Suggestion: Play around with the Warhog, you can get to do some really nice flip tricks with it :P

Halo 2

  • Really good game but I would say that it's not as good as Halo 1
  • More vehicles, weapons, enemies for disposal and of course new maps
  • A noticeable and cool difference is that in Halo 2 you can use weapons on both hands. You can either choose to have the same weapon or different kinds to use for different enemies
  • You can also play co-op missions and engage in multiplayer combat

Ninja Gaiden

  • The coolest ninja game I've ever played
  • You can choose a variety of attack types to use with different enemies
  • This game is really addicting
  • A comment I ahve to say about this game is that it is difficult, some bosses for example are really hard to beat and you have to plan strategies of how you are going to attack them, otherwise it will be impossible to beat them
  • This ninja has spectacular abilities, including wall running, wall climbing, swinging, really cool jumps and a lot more tricks

Lego Star Wars

  • Any one that likes Star Wars will love this game (you will even like it if you hate Star Wars)
  • All characters and maps are made up of legos
  • You will play as a variety of characters including Obi Wan, Chewbaca, Princess Leyia, Yoda, etc. each with different attacks and abilities (even the force)
  • Go through a variety of missions flying on lego ships, killing lego soldiers, even destroying lego flowers to get pieces to build some bonus ships
  • This game will definitely get you cracking up in laughter

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

  • You have to think a lot for this game so if you are not in the mood for taking things slowly and calmly this game is not for you
  • You are this agent and you have to go through a variety of missions completing lots of missions
  • The object of this game is not to go and kill everyone, you have to evaluate situations and sometimes use sleeping darts, choke them and yes, of course kill them sometimes
  • You have to pass a lot of obstacles like lasers, security cams, guard dogs, guards
  • The point of missions is to not get caught, you can do this by hiding the dead guard in dark places after killing them or take put the guard dogs which can smell you

Jade Empire

  • It had amazing graphics
  • Fantastic music
  • Good replayability
  • Fantastic direction
  • The story was mad-crazy
  • If you liked Fable you will definitely like this game, they are very similar

Fable

  • You begin playing as a kid is a small town where you grew up, it is a peaceful village until something horrible happens
  • You have 3 types of attacks you can use and are upgradable in the game there is the magic, range and melee
  • Many different ways to play making amazing re-playability
  • Fantastic story, it's like reading a book only better

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • You can watch the video for this game in my "Gamecube games" post
  • If you like Ninja Gaiden you will like this game, and if you don't like Ninja Gaiden you will still like this game :)
  • Prince of Persia is a puzzly-type game in which you will not only engage in combat but you will have to manage strategies to advance in the game
  • This Prince of Persia guy also has a lot of neat abilities like wall run, really cool fighting techniques, wall jumps, even slide down columns and ladders
  • Apart from that you are able to manage time, you can back it up, freeze it and even go to a totally different era

I recently finished Bioshock for the 360, and found it to be a really great game. It has a unique theme and although its a little creepy its a really fun game to play. Also it has a couple different endings depending on your choices during the course of the game.
